Devastacion- Resistiend al Engano [Del Imaginario Discos; 2007]

So, here we got it. After eight years from their first LP deaththrashers from Argentina realesed their second full-lenght album. And their once again proved, that their the best band in their country.
But let’s start from the most important thing here- compositions. Perfectly balanced, not too long, not too short- sometimes it’s a blast in a face, sometimes it’s something longer to bang your head. Still- we’ve got a fire in every song. Even if there are more calm moments (Herencia maldita)- Devastacion work is still awesome and supported by a lot of devilish dirt in their sound. Even if this album was realesed in 2007- Walter Ortiz and rest of his crew still probes, that they were born true oldschool and they’ll always have it in their hearts. Even if there are much more medium-tempo parts or melodies- still it goes around very well.
Yet- the highlights of this album are guitar solos- at first, there are a lot of them. But what’s more important- every single one is great. It’s obvious that musicians put a lot of attention and work on every single note of their parts. Good job, guys !  What more can I say? Another great material from fantastic, but terribly underrated band. I hope, that one day Devastacion become more popular- they really deserve it.
