Some thing will never change. For example- it’s the third Realmbuilder album and it’s also their third album with a crappy cover art.  But luckily there are also some things, that change - band’s first two album were low level, boring epic metal with too many Slough Feg ripps-off.  So imagine my surprise here- Blue Flame Cavalry is actually a good album. Or well- at least it’s much better than previous ones.
Songs are much longer, mature and more complex. Band showed us some new ideas here, or new instruments (like trumpets for example). But what’s most important- American duo started to actually catch an epic atmosphere in their songs. Best prove here is a second song on album- Advance Of The War Giants. But there is one thing that ruined everything- the way the songs are played. Alright, compositions are way better than they used to be, but that poor drumming style makes everything sounds like a first demo of a beginning band. Alright, you may say that Czar is mostly a singer and drums may not be his main priority. Unfortunately, this leads us to second mankament- vocals. Boring, absolute lack of skill and power.
It’s a WAY better than previous albums. Congratulations for a band for making such a big progress. But that doesn’t change the fact, that they still got a really long way to go. At first- hire a drummer, not a singer who possess drumkit.
