I have just realized recently thatAggressive Mutilator has, at long last, come to an important conclusion and released two materials in the cd format. All is well and good, but this ep disappoints a bit, as it contains only 5 out of 15 tracks which there are on the cd. Well, it saddens me a little bit, as the more I listen to old school music, the more it takes to quench my thirst for it!

The title track “Poison Minds” is first to come. AggressiveMutilator was able, subtly, to combine different styles, so there are plenty of slowly flowing fragments with march-like rhythms and black metal at the same time. Let’s don’t forget it is Devil`s music, but in a reasonable doses. Thisstylistic blend of styles, I meanof hell and archaic heavy metal works ok here. “Fall of the Universe” is not complex a song – it`s pretty sharp, but not too fast, I tell you.

“Hur” devastated my mind quite efficiently. This track is fast, aggressive and, I don’t know why, reminds me of SODOM`s The Conqueror, though it is played much faster. Don’tGet Lost in the Castle is another devastating track, but this time, Mikael and his comrades played much faster. It is ok, I prefer Throne of Skulls that ends this material. It just gallops forward and is very melodic, yet damn powerful – a truly memorable track.

Well, at long last I got the full length version of “Poison Mind.” I was surprised to find out that this stuff has been released by the Polish label, Psycho Records. Well, you can remember when I complained about the 10 tracks which were missing. The cd version contains many interesting bonus tracks – Curse of the Outlaw demo 2014, and They to Cut off My Head demo 2013. That’s why it is recommended to get this cd! LWS
