Atacke Nuclear come from TrêsCorações. These are 100% thrash maniacs with some minimal HC influences. Their debut album “Chaos Mundial” is mostlyfor worshippers of classic Brazilian scene of the mid-80s. Still, their music works ok in present times, too. What is really tasty about this release, is that all the lyrics are sung in Portuguese, which alas, is pretty rare these days.
This kind of singing matches the music perfectly. Ok, we all know the Brazilian scene is totally unique. “Chaos Mundial” is an interesting album with a high dose of the old school atmosphere. This stuff is not particularly aggressive or fast, but pulsates with some respectable power. You can easily hear this power in the songs such as ‘’Sexo, Armas, Miséria’’ or ‘’N.C.N.D’’. Also, another noticeable track is “Chaos Mundial”. What they sing about? Well, the lyrics deal with various social matters, so there is plenty of frustration and wrath etc. Beside the band`s own music, there is a cover track ‘’O que é a Moda’’ of the heavy metal band SUICIDE DOG. It is a really good album, but not excellent. Give it a try and listen to “Chaos Mundial.”
