Hellias- Closed In The Fate Coffin/Night Of Damnation [Thrashing Madness; 2015]

Hellias is one of the most underrated bands in our country. Great level of violent, oldschool music, and even if a lot of fans from the older date remembers this great band, right now younger people that are into metal forgets about this jewel. Let’s change it and refresh a legend.
“Closed In The Fate Coffin” is band’s first (and so far the best) full-length album. Hellias shows us totally raw and aggressive face of thrash, strongly inspired by german thrash scene and their nationals from Kat. A lot of great ideas goes along with a really good skill of musicians and evil atmosphere. And that’s the key to band’s success- amazingly written compositions recorded with pure hell’s sulfur and evil atmosphere. That creates Hellias one of the most interesting bands here. Other thing are guitar works- Goolary really know what he’s doing, killer riffs and even better solos.
“Closed In The Fate Coffin” is released in set with  “Night Of Damnation” EP, which is even more violent and dirty, with all lyrics written in Polish language. It can be treated as a great prelude for the full version of album. Other bonus material here are four songs recorded in 1988 during the concert in Cracow,  and that’s the best part here!! Showing true power ! We can see, that Hellias was a band, that destroyed everything live during the gigs !
It’s also worth mentioning, that album is released in a really nice way, inside we can find an interview with the band, about the times when they recorded that material. A really interesting one, worth reading. It’s good, that this material saw the daylight again. Hellias really deserves more attention, it’s a really good band with true metal feeling.
