Swiss scene, even if it’s not the biggest in the world, likes to mark it’s presence on a metal map sometimes.  Just to mention for exampe HELLHAMMER, CELTIC FROST SAMAEL. CORONER, CARRION, TRIPTYKON or BOLZER to know, that you can’t underrate that scene.  Active since 2008 BLACK SPUTUM pays a tribute to old black/thrash metal school, and they’re doing kinda well. “Mischief Of Excretion” is some kind of summaring five-years long band’s work. In menu there are songs from first demo “Phlegmass”, from EPs “R.A.S.” and “Spiritual Release” and from single “I Defy”. So we’ve got a cross-cutting release. It contains of 10 black/thrash anthems in the glory of Satan. Next to BLACK SPUTUM’s songs there are two covers: „Sentir Ódio e Nada Mais (Ratos de Porão)” and unpublished before „Cruzada ao lado de Satã (Flageladör)”. Everything blasts with power. There is a lot of fire here, and it’s played well, it’s clear that musicians know their instruments, even if it’s not a very complexed music, it’s still a great hit. Without any doubts we’re dealing with experienced band that knows how to create hell. It’s worth to look closer at premiere songs “Apodrecer” and “Oxex Salbrox”. We can notice there a big progress in their music. If BLACK SPUTUM will go into this direction, I smell a big  chaos near that really promising band. The only bad thing here is the fact, that it’s released on CDr, not on a normal compact. Anyway- reach for the material, because the music is worth it.
