Evil Whiplash is a piece or really good heavy/thrash metal from the depths of Colombia ! Anyone likes oldschool thrash with a lot of heavy influences and dirty, raw sound? Of course we all do ! That’s why you should listen to Evil Whiplash.
A lot of early Onslaught influences played with a great power of south-american scene, reminding also a bit of bands like Sepulcro. Dirty sound filled with satanic power makes some small technical mistakes unimportant, as we’ve got a true metal force here. Even if Evil Whiplash’s style of thrashing isn’t extremely fast, it have a great feeling and riffs that will make you instantly band your head, and a lot of motives will stay in your memory for a long time. Ok, this album is not perfect, a lot things could be done better, but who cares? This band got “this”, and it’s enough. I enjoyed every single song here. Without any doubts the best song on that album is a bonus track “Toxic Thrash”.
We’ve got here a great potential. Let’s hope, that Evil Whiplash will keep on working and achieve success. They have my vote.
