What we are dealing here with is a band that formed back in 1991. It means they`re sort of old-timerswho built their band from the ashes of another band called MALLEUS. Well, the SAURON`s music is quite freely understood as black metal – the band isn’t afraid to experiment and they go above the well accepted black metal limits. Unholy man is music rich in sounds, there is a lot going on here on this promo. Some parts are damn sick and though I would rather listen to some other sounds myself, I can appreciate the music this very promo has to offer. The unusual complexity of these tracks, played at really fast tempo with this a `laTHORNS kind of mannerism makes a good impression. Thereare plenty of twisted riffs here and these guitar riffs make this music damn complex. Well, I think these 8 tracks are perfect for those who don’t like too simple music to listen to, as SAURON is far from playing such. Yeah, this music is complex, indeed!
