CULTES DES GHOULES- The Rise of Lucifer MCD Under The Sign Of Garazel 2015

A new release of CULTES DES GHOULES is finally upon us. I will be frank and tell you every new material of this horde makes my really anxious. And really anxious I was when I got their new two track ep, with the Greek NECROMANTIA`s cover, “Family of Dog (The Feast of Ghouls”) and 15 minute long „The Rise of Lucifer”. In total, this stuff is slightly over 21 minute long and reeks of music appropriate for hell worshipers. This stuff is a honey for sick souls and a dose of schizophrenic possession like some horror movie`s soundtrack, this stuff truly is. This material is marked by unspeakable madness, a cadaveric atmosphere decorated with a totally cellar sound oozing from loudspeakers like it was coming from some underground crypt in which some necromantic rituals are held every night. You can feel this pungent, rotten aura, and see piles of bones taken from scattered sarcophaguses; among hooded figures who`re reciting primordial evocations calling the darkest powers from Hell. The 15 minutes which “The Rise of Lucifer” consists of, build, in a very subtle way, a ghastly atmosphere so characteristic for CULTES DES GHOULES` sound. “Family of Dog (The Feast of Ghouls)” is a very successful version of this NECROMANTIA track, and, I will be frank with you, matches the CULTES` song on this mcd in a perfect way. All in all, this stuff is a really dark piece of art bringing the power of black light! The blackest gem in the crown of the Horned Lord. LWS.
