WITCHCRAFT/SZRON Split ep7 Under The Sign Of Garazel 2014

So, what we have got here, is another material released by a vivacious label Under the Sign of Garazel from Krakow. This time, we can listen to a split release of SZRON and Hungarian WITCHCRAFT which is put on the side A. The first track to come is catchy, venomous “Ördög metál”. Well, frankly, nothing special, at all. What is even fucking worse, is the Angmar`s noisy vocal. But, luckily, there is another, and much better track of theirs, called “Fekete és hideg”. This track is pretty much in the vein of early Darkthrone/Mayhem. This slow track makes us forget the track number one. The B side features a seven minute long track of SZRON, “Onward into the Void”, which is, no doubt, this ep`s strongest point. There is a lot of depressive atmosphere in this cut as well as some slight influences from Darkthrone. Really nice to listen to. Not a bad ep, this one, would be even better if there wasn’t this Ördög metal song by witchcraft. LWS
