Another cassette release from Impurity Productions, which, no doubt, enjoys to confront the storm of extreme music. It comes as no surprise then that MORBITAL from Sankt Petersburg is such an aggressive band. They formed back in 2013 and what they offer is a strong kick with a heavy boot right in your mug. Well, all in all, the tape itself needs slight improvement, but the music it features is a solid dose of death metal, in which you can sense some early grind influences like CARCASS, TERRORIZER, PROHECY OF DOOM or AXEGRINDER.

Every single riff here massacres its listeners with old school mayhem and annihilation, blended with slower, bulldozing parts which just crush supreme. There is eight tracks on this album and one unreleased track too. We are not overly exposed to Russian metal music which doesn’t mean the scene there is dead, oh no. MORBITAL proves there are good and worthy bands there. Death is just a Beginning comes very much recommended.
