When I got this stuff I knew, more or less, what to expect. But they did better! NOX stands for rich, mature music, tinted with thrash yet progressive too, as to say it is stained with thrash only would be far too simple. Their music is instrumental as they`ve got no vocalist, but it works out very well, in my view. Richness of ideas this demo features, this all sounds very strong in result. Underside makes me think about Shrapnel Rec. which released a lot of guitar-work masterpieces back in the 80s. NOX would fit in with such bands as APOCRYPHA, CACOPHONY or M.A.R.S. very well, I think. NOX has undoubtedly potential and this demo does prove it. Unless you already know this band from Gliwice, go get this demo right now. Awesome stuff!
