Well, it took some time before NOX released their brand new material. Yes, Over 12 months is a long time, indeed. On the other hand, the way they`ve progressed is truly impressive. As it was with their first demo, this stuff is exclusively instrumental. I am really eager to know how this music would pair with vocals, yet I am aware it`d have to be really difficult to find a proper frontman. This guy`d have to be really exceptional, like Warrel Dane, for instance. Ok, let’s get back to this stuff. A vocalist or no vocalist, NOX is an interesting band. There`s a lot going on here, on this mcd. Various kinds of atmosphere, different tempos, plenty of twisted riffs, some guitar treats, really awesome! I wish we had more music like this one. Hard to believe how many riffs one can find on this stuff, every single riff here kills! Yeah, NOX hold the cards. I can sense some MEKONG DELTA in this, but just a little bit, not too much really. I am going to see them live soon, and I am pretty sure it`ll be an amazing experience. Worth noting that some NOX members were involved in legendary INFECTED MIND (and their cult Lost Existence 1993 demo).
