I will tell you that it’s been ages since I have held in my hands such a professionally printed, good-looking, old-school A5 format zine like this one I am holding right now. Glossy paper, colour pro-print, hell yeah. I don’t even want to think how costly it was to get it done like this but hell, don’t we all do this to pay homage to old, fiery metal music glory, hey?

BESTIAL DESECRATION # 1 /2018 is 666-proof zine, run by a true maniac who`s kind of like I am, indeed. I mean he worships old school metal as much as I do. Yes, this issue actually deals with younger bands, no doubt, but all these bands are heavily influenced by the 80s old-school metal, all right. Therefore, there are no random bands featured here, in this issue, just take a look at its contents, will you? EURYNOMOS, EVIL FORCE, MATTERHORN and HELLFIRE! As well as such legendary bands as RUMBLE MILITIA or CRYPTIC SLAUGHTER. A nice Norwegian black metal report included, an article on cult CRUX and tons of other cool stuff: GDR Metal Special=Heavy Metal Pioneers Behind the Iron Curtain, dealing with German metal scene. An awesome read, oh yes, for sure. Beside interviews, there are some reviews and one-sided "old school looking" posters (NIFELHEIM, SLAYER, VOIVOD and so on). It all is kept in the vein of Thrash`em All or Holocaust for instance, but, of course, BESTIAL DESECRATION`s print quality is much better.
