Another legendary Chilean band here. This is SADISM`s Tribulated Bells(1992), re-released with The Dark Side ep (1993) as bonus. A piece of awesome, technical death metal of highest caliber in the vein of old school bands like early PESTILENCE(the vocals are very similar to Van Drunen`s, hey), MORBID ANGEL, NOCTURNUS or DEATH. You guys need anything else?I do not. Yes, this stuff is jaw dropping all right. Hard to believe that band wasn’t able to succeed a bit more and instead stayed deeply underground and thus unable to compete with the said tycoons. SADISM formed in Santiago, Chile in 1988 and scorched the earth with a number of amazing recordings, including The Sound Tribulated Bells. To me, this album is one of the best death metal releases, plain and simple. You know what? I am happy these guys are still fighting back and striving to deliver their musical vision to the masses. Despite various ups and downs, hey. They`ve released seven albums now (their latest Al Azifis from 2017). Support these guys, they deserve it! Get this reedition unless you already have it! recommended!!!!
