This band seems quite young (formed in 2018) but their music definitely isn’t so! This is very archaic sounding, mid-tempo death/black metal, with powerful, hoarse vocals and very filthy, yet organic sound. If I were to compare them to any other bands, I would say Finnish ARCHGOAT pops into my mind quite immediately; add some other 90s BM bands/albums too if you like. You know, both ATONEMENT and ARCHGOAT have this apocalyptic, “end-of-the-world” kind of vibe and this unique misty, evil aura. Well, I must say I am quite surprised that such inexperienced musicians have brought forth such a good piece of music…I am anxiously waiting for more ATONEMENT recordings…get in touch with Putrid Cult and get this ep – you won’t be disappointed
