Finland is just bottomless; don’t you agree on this simple fact? There`s always been hundreds, if not thousands of BM bands, some better and some worse. And I thinkRUHO is somewhere in between, churning out their merciless, furious, mid-tempo black metal. The problem is, in my view of course, thatRUHO`s The Devout Thrumdoes in fact not offer anything fresh or ground-breaking.If you ask me, well, I will tell you guys this album is ratheruninspiring and in fact all the tracks seem to be more or less same. Of course, this is perfect for any “die-hard” Finnish BM fan and these people will enjoy this cd for sure. No doubt. Yet, however, there are more interesting crews around like ANNIHILATUSor DIABOLIfor instance. Well, the choice is yours, no fucking worries. Paweł Wojtowicz
