First off, the cover art`s amazing! Well, this one has beenreleased through Under the Sign of Garazel so high quality is something inevitable, be it the very quality of booklet paper, layout and music of course. Deeply rooted in classic, second wave BM, CZORT`s surprisingus with quite a fresh approach of theirs and a truly nice dose of good riffage! Riffs, indeed, on this album are just superb. Just listen to the “Schody Podswiadomosci”track or the beginning of “Grajac W Szachy Z Diablem” song, will you. I am sure these guys had practiced these cuts until their ears proverbially “started bleeding” during countless rehearsals, as there is no single second on this album which is unnecessary. Plenty of tempo changes make this stuff even more absorbing with each and every time you blast it. In other words, a very tight, well performed and full of ideas, this Apostol cd is. Some minute folk touch works out very well too.
