FIASKO Mizantropolia mcd 2020 (self-released)

According to MA it`s Sludge/Black/Post-Metal…ok, so be it, whatever this definition struggles to “define”. Well, in my world, this music is too soft to be considered metalper se, that’s for sure. Which doesn’t imply this is bad music, because there is plenty of good ideas on this Mizantropolia mcd. The vocals are a blend of harsh and clean ones and these are really good, despite the fact I am not too keen on the Polish language used in this sort of (hard) music. Overall, riffs are very good and so aretheir execution and production. Heavy, massive yet very clear. The vibe is very gloom, this is perfect music to enjoy in the fall, since it has this depressive, sad feeling to it. I must say I am impressed with the final result of this mini album as I gave it a couple of spins and hey, it left quite a positive aftertaste. Write the band and get their music on understanding this is your cup of tea. You`ll not be disappointed, that’s for sure.
