Another album I have been looking forward to, since I already had a soft spot for E`s music that I found on their ep`s in the past. It did indeed take a long time for EURYNOMOS` album to see the light of day, or more precisely, it took Occulto and his crew four long years to do so. It was worth all the wait since From the Valleys of Hades kills totally.

The sound we know from their ep`s is still present here and so them guys can now focus solely on music.

My point is it is not unusual for many a band not to be able to find their unique type of sound, changing it, in result, from one album to another. But when it comes to EURYNOMOS, well, they managed to do that right in the beginning. This stuff has plenty of pulsating energy…cuts like Titan God, Bat Flightor Druid Circle are omnipotent and powerful; this is aggressive black metal with amazing guitar solos which make this music very epic and noble. This album is both nostalgic and rebelliously violent at the same time. From the Valleys features a number of slower tracks too, such as Heraklion Axes,Pantokratoror this amazing Coal, Sulphur, Saltpeter. In general, there are no fillers on this album as all these songs are very compact and perfectly match each other. From the Valleyscan easily enchant its listeners with its stunning atmosphere. This album is both catchy and venomous. Hard to stop listening to this stuff, really, especially when we face such hits as Nibiru Sun, Night Hunter or the title track. Good music and I would love to see these tracks performed live as well!!!
