Ok, I must say UR`s music isn’t exactly my cup of tea since I usually focus my attention on old school metal and rarelydo I listen to this sort of black metal. But I can appreciate the execution….what is good about Obelgaep is that lyrics are in Polish which match the music very well. We have just four tracks on this ep, but it all sounds very varied: title track`s galloping tempos for instance, as well as atmosphere build-up and just plenty of ideas crammed into this one track.

This music is very rich in sounds, skillfully executed with sparky solos…vocals are both screamy and clean. Niech Zaplonie Slonce is another track, with mind-devastating guitar riffs, and I think this ep`s best; quite similar, I reckon, to FURIA`s stuff. Still, sure, these two bands are different. Z Ust Wolnego Ludu is next, a very original song. W martwy las is very aggressive and has an outstandingguitar riff.

This song slows down again and again, building up the right atmosphere very skillfully; very dense and sophisticated drumming is truly impressive. Nie zmartwychwstaniemy is very climatic, very grim and radiating with pure menace. Hard to explain why this ep is so dangerously alluring (like invisible spider`s web really), so interesting and catchy that a listener cannot get rid of these sounds from his head. If this is your cup of tea, this music, well, it is up to you. But one thing is sure. UR is a very talented band that you guys should get interested in.
