CHAINBREÄKER -Relentless Night CD Metal on Metal 2020

CHAINBREÄKER come from Austria and this is their second album to date. A truly speed/thrash assault, indeed. I will tell you I can’tremember when I was last so impressed with a particular album. These sounds are just suffused with untamed energy and very pleasant to listen to. Heavily influenced by old-school metal, these guys are in fact quite young as they formed just 6 years ago.

I am absorbing these sounds like a sponge…amazing! Well, many think all the best metal music can offer has already been created…maybe it is true, but now and then there pops up a new, young band who can recreate the old good days and bring back the very atmosphere of the mid-80s, the metal music`s golden era. I am not talking about senseless mimicking what`s already been done, but improving and elaborating on the ideas that, in the past, created the best examples of metal music.

CHAINBREÄKER is undeniably a talented bunch of musicians so we can rest assured that their future doings, their passion and willingness to play quality music will surprise us again. Relentless Night is a very catchy album, yet not “commercial” in the least; this stuff seemsrough a bit, the very fact which, combined with powerful riffs and plenty of energy, results in a very attractive, multidimensional recording. Lukas Pohn`s vocals are very interesting, and similar to Dan Beehler`s (EXCITER).

I have blasted this album countless times and each and every time I enjoyed it. Relentless Night won’t bore you at all; this stuff is soaked with omnipotent energy…it is hard to stop listening to it, you want to play it on repeat all day. I can only imagine how this music would work on head bangers in live shows…I hope this album gets released in the vinyl version, too!
