Holy fuck, this stuff is really good…totally possessed, evil as fuck (yet still with plenty of grim atmosphere) black metal by a one-man (I presume) band from Poland - HEKATOMB. The vocals are just of outstanding quality – very “rich”, menacing and therefore fit the music perfectly. If I were to compare this band to other crews, I would say very old WATAIN, FUNERAL MIST or ARMAGEDDA would be appropriate influences, no doubt. This is a debut recording by HEKATOMB so the execution is still rather crude and unpolished. That’s good if you ask me, since this sort of music is exactly when we appreciate this untamed roughness. Ok, drumming,perhaps, needs some improvement and could be a bit more varied, but who really cares. Damn, just pay heed to how this Sacrament Inverted song builds up the evilness of its message…awesome! Wrapping up, Crone Time Comes stands for plenty of good ideas, great execution and plenty of potential for the future. Looking forward to their/his new stuff!!!
