Straightforward, “no-prisoners-taken-whatsoever” speed/thrash metal right in your face on this Sinful Birth by ANTICHRIST! The abundance of riffs and great ideas make this album a really nice and mandatory listen! All these songs flow nicely, drumming is superb! It is all very riff oriented, I mean careful, meticulous song writing is of utmost priority here, all had been rehearsed thousands of times before being recorded - you can feel (and hear) how well-performed this album is. To tell you the truth, I have never heard of the band before, and this is a mistake since I am sure these guys have (had) plenty to offer. If I was to compare ANTICHRIST to other, similar bands I would say that MAZE OF TORMENT or HYPNOSIA are the appropriate choices. However, this album appears a tad “lighter” so to say, isn’t as evil as those two other bands` doings are. It is a bit more technical, more sophisticated if you know what I mean. Get in touch with I Hate and purchase or trade Sinful Birth. Very recommended.
