Well, I was surprised, to say the least, upon what I found on this tape.

 This band hails from Mexico so I suspected, wrongly, that I’d be dealing with brutal death metal. 

Lo and behold, this music turned out to be atmospheric black metal, and to tell you the truth – a really good one. 

Interestingly, the band formed in the early 90s, and the first album was out in 1995. “in my domains” is their third full length album. 

Sadly, there`s been some disagreement within the band, which resultingly split into two groups, and both are fighting against each other over who owes the right to the band name.

 Not necessary, all this, I would say, since the music is very intriguing and that should be the main issue here. 

To be honest with y`all, 

I am not too much into black metal and keyboards, but here, the keys are well executed and provide a good atmospheric background. 

The music is mid-paced or slow`ish and gives off a truly mysterious, unique atmosphere.

 Yes, this stuff was recorded over 10 years ago but it holds up well, I think. If you are into early ANCIENT, LIMBONIC ART and the like, this AVZHIA`s album is something you can enjoy as well. A good, very good album for autumn evenings.
