This obscure Swedish duo has released a number of demos and a full-length. Now, they’ve strike with another demo of theirs. What have we got there, huh? Ruff, crude (especially when we focus on vocals – which seem to have been mixed using some really primitive equipment) and filthy slab of black/punk (in the vein of newDARKTHRONE, WHIPSTRIKER – you know what I mean, don’t you people) blended with black/thrash music a ‘la DESASTER. Interestingly, the band added to this serious storm some instrumental mini-songs, which, I daresay, resembles some electronic themes used in horror movies. Nothing to ponder about, it has happened before. Like MAYHEM and their Deathcrush yet they’d used more noisy ideas, I think. This works pretty much ok with AM’s style and chaotic music, that’s my view on this issue. Of course, AM isn’t for people who’re into sterile, polished-up production and originality. W’`ve all heard this kind of stuff before, haven’t we? Yet, this music has its own character and quality. These guys like what they do, and fucking play this music straight from their black hearts. This is ass-kicking and uncompromising music, hell yeah. If you see Det Djavlanstet on any hard copy medium, well, get it!
